Interview: The Complex Dialect

Seattle's 8-piece progressive outfit The Complex Dialect recently revealed official details for their debut album, Change, which has been set for release on December 1, 2017. Produced at Seattle's infamous London Bridge Studios by Eric Lilavois (Saint Motel, Atlas Genius, Surfer Blood) and mastered by Ed Brooks (Fleet Foxes, Death Cab for Cutie, Pearl Jam), Change is a representation of both "problem" and "solution" perspectives when engaging with the ever-changing world we deal with in present time. Their powerful, progressive message caught the attention of HuffPost, who teamed up with The Complex Dialect to unveil their latest single, "One Constellation." "One Constellation" starts off Side B: Solution, and is a song about perspective. It's about stepping away from our earthly issues and looking for a deeper understanding of our existence in the true grand scheme of things.

Creek Boyz have a big record, "With My Team" that has over 2 million views on YouTube and continues to climb. Their blend of hip-hop and soul sound has caught the attention of Lil Yachty, who Tweeted some lyrics, Yo Gotti, Zack Fox, Karen Civil, and others. Their sound is often compared to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Their newest record, "I'm The One" is also doing well. The record has gone to radio and it has really gained some traction in group's hometown of Baltimore, MD. They've been featured in Complex, The Fader, Pitchfork, Baltimore City Paper, Genius, Elevator Mag, and more.

Interview: Butch Parnell

Alt-Americana singer-songwriter, Butch Parnell, recently announced details for this latest EP, The Fall, which has been set for release on November 17th, 2017. The Fall is a 6-track collection of soulful, emotionally-driven, and slightly twangy tunesthat will appeal to fans of artists like The Lemonheads, Brandi Carlile, or The Lone Bellow. Butch Parnell describes the EP as, "...a familiar story of love and loss that I've tried to tell as simply and without pretense as I can." Today, Butch Parnell released the second single off the EP, "Hurry," which premiered exclusively with The Boot. "Hurry" is a track about confessing love and allowing it to light the way to hope. Parnell wrote the song to win over an unrequited love and, while the song didn't necessarily work out for him in the romance department, it's been a crowd pleaser with his live audience.
